Rounding up the escalating madness, That Mr. G Guy asked, “What the hell is wrong with these people?” Indeed, the craziness has become ubiquitous, especially among our nation’s intellectual elite:

The University of Colorado at Denver does not plan to seek the dismissal of an administrator who was placed on leave after the revelation that she was running a phone sex service, CBS Denver 4 reported. The TV network has also found that she ran an escort service. The administrator — Resa Cooper-Morning, cultural diversity coordinator in the university’s ethnic studies department — has declined to comment, and her lawyer has denied any wrongdoing.
A spokesman for the university said: “We’ve been unable to establish that Ms. Cooper-Morning engaged in criminal activity nor have we been able to determine that she operated her outside businesses while on the job. The university does not condone Ms. Cooper-Morning’s activities, but under the law, there are limits on actions that employers can take regarding off-duty conduct of employees. In the absence of additional information, Ms. Cooper-Morning remains employed by the university.”

There is apparently no rule in the university’s policy that prevents administrator’s from running escort services or selling phone sex, so long as they engage in these activities “off-duty.” It’s merely a hobby, no different than Professor Glenn Reynolds’ blog.

Doesn’t this tell you everything you need to know about the individual and case in general? You have it all.
1) A hyphenated last name. A lot of liberal women have stopped doing this because they see the absurdity, especially for future generations. Either keep your own (and don’t act offended if you’re called Mrs. X) or change to his.
2) A title of “cultural diversity coordinator.” A false title for a bulls**t position that only exists in “higher” education and Fortune 500 companies wanting to kiss up to GLAAD.
3) “the university’s ethnic studies department.” In other words, lazy, unaccountable, fiction of a department that solely exists to perpetuate grievances in society.

I guess the only thing surprising is that she would run a phone sex operation which perpetuate the heteronormative patriarchal phallic pedagogy of having them jerk off to her panting. On second thought, maybe she didn’t answer men’s calls, IYKWIM. Or maybe the most surprising thing is that there are still phone sex numbers. Didn’t the internet replace phone sex?

Yeah, there really is no reason to pay for something like phone sex. if you’re going to pay for something go for a cam site. You can get all the free phone sex you want off of Craigslist or Facebook.

Texas is much more advanced on the diversity front. Why, when we moved here our realtor personally drove us around and introduced us to all three black people.
And then of course Hondo IS the hometown of the Mexican Nazi Party (and no, I’m not making that up).

In case you’re wondering, the Mexican Nazi Party makes the trains run on time and then sits on top of them with baskets of live chickens.
