Some Kind of Twitter Thing in the Virginia Attorney General’s Race?

Posted on | November 11, 2013 | 17 Comments

This is probably one of those silly things everybody will forget about later, but liberals have been trying to steal the Virginia Attorney General’s election from Republican Mark Obenshain and were using Twitter to do it, or something. Virginia is just a damned shame and while there has been endless finger-pointing among Republicans, perhaps someone should start asking why a California billionaire dropped $8 million to help elect Terry McAuliffe governor.

The Environmental-Industrial Complex?

Ah, the old “Missing Ballots All for the Democrat Candidate” tactic. Or did these go missing because they are votes for Obenshain?

    No “missing” ballots.

From the comments in the linked story:

For the record – and I know I’m being overly lawyerly here – we didn’t have any uncounted absentee ballots. We had untabulated ballots – everything was counted, they just weren’t tabulated and reported on the results sheets properly. So when I said that about no evidence, I was going by what I had investigated – and that was that there were no missing boxes of ballots or anything of that nature. And there weren’t and there haven’t been. We could account for everything. I didn’t know – because I didn’t have the results sheets in front of me at the time – that the numbers were so far off. But as soon as I did (and it just took a phone call), I agreed that we had an issue.

Dave and the guys get a lot of credit for getting my attention on it, however – they caught the error a full day before we would have caught it. We would have caught it, but they got there first. Kudos to everyone
involved for helping us get things right

Doesn’t mean that the leftists won’t use it as an excuse to squeal and continue to try and steal the election anyway.

Maybe this rich Californian wants to “fundamentally transform” Virginia by making it more like CA–that is, higher income taxes on businesses and individuals, higher sales taxes, more environmental laws to “control” every aspect of the citizens’ lives, strong gun control laws, more welfare and entitlement– and, lastly, a state Attorney General that will not support the Virginia laws and will use the court system to promote Socialist ideology.
