High School Freak Show: Colorado Girls Claim Harassment by Teen Transsexual

Coming soon to a public school near you.

“Who knows whither the ’emerging awareness’ shall henceforth emerge?”
Robert Stacy McCain, The American Spectator, June 26

America’s descent into decadent perversity advances, as high school girls in Florence, Colorado, say they were forced to share the school’s restroom and locker room with a teenage shemale:

Attorneys with Pacific Justice Institute sent a strongly-worded letter this afternoon to school officials at Florence High School, warning them against squelching student privacy and speech rights in order to cater to the wishes of a teenage boy who has been entering girls’ bathrooms on campus.
“This is a nightmare scenario for the teenage girls—some of them freshmen—and their parents at this school,” noted PJI staff attorney Matthew McReynolds, who sent the letter to Principal Brian Schipper and Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti. “This is exactly the kind of horror story we have been warning would accompany the push for radical transgender rights in schools, and it is the type of situation that LGBT activits have been insisting would not happen.”
Parents at the school, located near Colorado Springs, became irate when they learned that a teenage boy was entering girls’ bathrooms and, according to some students, even making sexually harassing comments toward girls he was encountering. When the parents confronted school officials, they were stunned to be told the boy’s rights as a self-proclaimed transgender trumped their daughters’ privacy rights. As the controversy grew, some students were threatened by school authorities with being kicked off school athletic teams or charged with hate crimes if they continued to voice concerns. The parents became aware of PJI’s Notice of Reasonable Expectation of Privacy and contacted PJI for help.

This became worldwide news. Guess what happened next? Gay activists and other left-wing groups started shrieking, “Fake story!”

FOX News, continuing its long history of anti-trans media coverage, is promoting a false story about a transgender high school student in Colorado who was allegedly harassing her peers. . . .
As the story was picked up by the Examiner.com, and internationally by the UK’s Daily Mail, Cristan Williams at the TransAdvocate pointed out the lack of input from any teachers, parents, or students at Florence High School, and decided to do some fact checking of her own. In a phone conversation with Cristan, Florence High School Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti clarified the misinformation, saying, “We do have a transgender student at the high school, and she has been using the women’s restrooms. There has not been a situation. All the students of these parents who say they feel uncomfortable just about the fact that the student is allowed to go into the restrooms at the high school, into the stalls – they don’t believe that that’s appropriate, so that’s where it stems from. There has not been an incident of harassment, or anything that would cause any additional concern.”

Do you see the trick there? Instead of this being a story about a genuinely creepy situation no sane parent would tolerate — a pathetic freak using the girl’s restroom — they want to shift the narrative, to turn it into a story about Fox News (evil!) and “anti-trans” bias.

Notice, however, that the school superintendent does not deny that parents have complained about the policy at issue.

Instead, the superintendent verbally minimizes the problem — ” parents who say they feel uncomfortable” — without directly addressing any of the complaints reported by the Pacific Justice Institute. How is this a “fake story,” when the superintendent actually confirms (a) that “a transgender student . . . has been using the women’s restrooms,” and (b) that parents have complained this is not “appropriate”?

(On what planet does anyone think this is “appropriate”?)

Yes, of course, the superintendent denies that her bizarre policy has led to “an incident of harassment, or anything that would cause any additional concern,” but what do we expect? Do we expect the superintendent to admit that her policy has led to harassment?

The predictable shrieks of “fake story” (e.g., Media Matters) are intended to discourage mainstream news organizations from picking up on the story, because the one thing the Left doesn’t want is for parents to understand how far their radical agenda has gone.

Notice, also, the shrewd P.R. tactics being employed: The superintendent gave an interview to her sympathizers at TransAdvocate, but  when National Review‘s Alec Torres tried to follow up, he was “was unable to reach Rhonda Vendetti, Florence High School’s superintendent, who will be out of the office for the rest of the week.” Convenient, eh?

What we are seeing here is a logical consequence of the Supreme Court’s 2003 Lawrence v. Texas ruling in which Justice Anthony Kennedy, in the process of invalidating state laws against sodomy, articulated the Emerging Awareness Doctrine:

In all events we think that our laws and traditions in the past half century are of most relevance here. These references show an emerging awareness that liberty gives substantial protection to adult persons in deciding how to conduct their private lives in matters pertaining to sex.

Even though Kennedy limited the scope of his (unconstitutional) idea to “adult persons,” it was inevitable that gay radicals would seek to apply this “substantial protection” to minors because:

  1. If public schools are about preparing children for adulthood, and adulthood means a weird carnival freak show of abnormality, then your kids must learn about dildos and drag queens;
    and
  2. Pedophiles have for decades sought to use the gay-rights movement as a vehicle for legalizing their own deviance.

This is not an allegation, but a well-documented fact, and the angry denials of gay activists, like the denials of the Colorado school superintendent, do not change the fact that people who (a) want to have sex with kids, also (b) support the gay rights agenda.

Putting liberal sympathizers like Principal Brian Schipper and Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti in charge of public schools is part of an agenda to institute favorable policies, implementing pro-homosexual curricula in the name of “anti-bullying” and “tolerance,” and teaching the kind of explicit “comprehensive” sex education advocated by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN).

Of course, most sex offenders (including teachers) are heterosexual, but heterosexual perverts can’t hide behind claims of “equality” or accuse their critics of “discrimination,” “bigotry,” “hate,” et cetera. Pedophiles of all varieties are eager to advance the cause of deviant sexuality as a “right” because only under conditions Matt Barber has described as Sexual Anarchy can child molesters hope to find “tolerance.”

Letting a teenage drag queen use the girl’s bathroom? Hey, you can be sure that on the shadowy bulletin boards where pedophiles gather online, Principal Brian Schipper and Superintendent Rhonda Vendetti are their new heroes. Therefore, gay activists and the mainstream media are determined to marginalize and suppress this story, as the Pacific Justice Institute understands:

A story broken last week by Pacific Justice Institute and picked up by media outlets around the world has inspired near-panic among transgender advocates who have now begun their own counter-campaign in an attempt to divert attention away from the story. . . .
Under intense pressure, several news sites took down or retracted their stories rather than investigating further. Not so fast, say PJI attorneys.
“Transgender activists are in full damage control mode because they know how explosive and damaging to their cause this story is,” noted Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute. “The central issue in this case—a high school’s decision to give a biological teenage boy full access to teenage girls’ bathrooms is both disturbing and not seriously disputed. It is very revealing that the Superintendent is seeking sympathy from transgender activists instead of addressing the serious concerns raised in our letter.”

I am, I am also considering the costs associated with the inevitable law suits which come afterwards when said small business is sued by either a woman who had a male-to-female transgendered person walk in on her or a male-to-female transgendered who was denied use of the ladies room. Sometimes, there are ONLY bad options.

The point being that, in Colorado, all of those category are “protected classes.” And I am old enough to remember the “colored” bathrooms in Texas.

They should not worry about sharing a bathroom with a transgirl – by the way, a transgirl who passed well until she was publicly outed by some disgruntle parents.

DSM-5, released this year, replaces the term “disorder” with “incongruence.” People with gender dysphoria are not perverted. Your representation of the issue is a perversion. I am in a 30 year monogamous heterosexual relationship, with four kids.

The law in Colorado is clear. Encouraging actions that are against the law, such as denying access to the female restrooms to the transgirl, is discrimination. You are more than welcome to state your opinion. The problem is that we have seen those opposed to the transgirl threatening violence, retaliation, etc.

That’s true. Bigotry can come from people of any race, color, or creed. Discrimination is often a equal-opportunity prejudice.

And who is pushing the DSM-5? People like you! You have no idea what the word perversion means, since for you, perversion is normal.

And the fact that you replied with some unrequested biopic information – as if that was part of the discussion! – just goes to show how stupid you are to claim that being married is now some kind of certificate of legitimacy to all your perverted thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors!

Is it news to you that plenty of people with a perverted mind are married? Is it news to you that you are one of them?

Lastly, I think it’s curious how every single liberal that comes on the Internet to criticize social conservatives on culture war issues SWEARS that they are 1)married, 2)monogamous, 3) with children. What are you going to claim next, that you are against pornography and sex outside marriage?

Tell us, little DSM-5 religious follower, how do you define sexual perversion?

That’s how criminal liberals are – and many are in the psychological professions! Instead of treating these profoundly dysfunctional people, they encourage them in their mental disorders, and if they completely self-destruct along the way, then they just blame it on the individual.

I couldn’t agree more. Gender develops at a very young age and sexuality around puberty. Kids have no idea of right or wrong as it applies to developing their sexuality and gender and are literally at the mercy of their parents. I can’t believe (liberal) parents are letting their children pick and reinforce a lifestyle choice that has such negative life outcomes.

It makes me very angry that we’ve become so stupid. Satan is having a field day.

    Let me guess……

    You’re a “free-kater” too aren’t you?

    Oh really?

You look at one of these freakshows close up, the very second thing that comes to mind is that they are sick.

    The first thing is disgust.

I am not liberal. I am libERTARIAN. Big difference. I don’t really care what you think. Nor am I criticizing social conservatives. I am criticizing ignorance. DSM-5 is the “new release – May 2013,” and it replaces the 13-year old for diagnostic tool.

I have no need to waste my time with twits like you.

I have no idea what a “free-kater” is.

There is no evidence any girl was in an unsafe situation because the transgirl legally shared the HS restroom.

Thanks for proving that many people who call themselves libertarians are very liberal. No big difference when it comes to your perverted thoughts about sexuality, such as normalizing sexual dysfunctions and perversions, anywhere from homosexuality, promiscuity, porn, and gender dysfunctions..

As long as any DSM proclaims your perverted mind about sexuality is “healthy” is all you care about.

    Transgirl, transgirl, transgirl.
No matter how many times you say it, he has a penis and that makes him a male.
Let’s settle it for good okay?
If this ” transgirl” underwent a DNA test what sex would be indicated by it? Male or female?
I’ll just abide by your answer to that question.
